Belrise Industries Limited has completed its first international acquisition, marking a strategic entry into the aerospace manufacturing segment. The company acquired SDM, a Europe-based manufacturer specialising in high-precision machined components used in aero-structures, aero-engines and robotics.
SDM supplies components to several leading global aerospace original equipment manufacturers, including the world's largest commercial aircraft manufacturer and a prominent French fighter aircraft OEM. With this acquisition, Belrise Industries gains direct access to established global aerospace supply chains.
The acquisition aligns with Belrise's broader strategy to diversify beyond automotive manufacturing into high-technology, safety-critical sectors. SDM is expected to continue operating within its existing customer ecosystem while contributing to Belrise's ambition of expanding its precision engineering capabilities.
Belrise stated that the acquisition provides a foundation to strengthen its aerospace presence and supports its long-term objective of positioning India as a competitive manufacturing base for advanced aerospace components.
