Skipper installs one of India’s largest galvanizing plants in WB

The galvanizing plant will enhance Skipper Limited’s manufacturing capacity in transmission Towers & Poles.

Skipper Limited, one of the market leaders in the power transmission business in India, sets up one of India’s largest galvanizing plant in Uluberia (West Bengal). The plant will be dedicated towards structures which are 2.5m in diameter and 12 m length. The plant will have a galvanizing capacity of 8000 tonnes per month. It will enhance Skipper Limited’s manufacturing capacity in Towers & Monopoles of the highest size.

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion Devesh Bansal, Director, Skipper Ltd. said, “At Skipper Limited we are constantly in pursuit of innovation and have dedicated our resources to expand our cutting-edge products and value added propositions to the rest of the country.”

“Our strong presence in the Indian as well as International markets has enabled us to expand our manufacturing capacity. We are proud to own one of India’s largest galvanizing plant in Uluberia. The plant is a milestone moving towards our objective of being an organization focused on providing products and services catering to the need of the hour for the power industry in India. Increase in investment by the government and favorable regulatory policies for the power sector have been motives for us to expand our capacity and cater to supply.” he added.
