Santosh Kamath is the new MD for Alvarez & Marsal India

With over 23 years of experience in advising clients across the energy value chain, Kamath is a recognised industry leader known for working with a broad range of stakeholders and providing leadership to companies focused on emerging energy transition areas.

Alvarez & Marsal, (A&M) India, a leading global professional services firm, announced the appointment of Santosh Kamath as its Managing Director to strengthen the firm's energy practice in the energy transition and clean energy areas.  

Kamath's appointment strengthens A&M's expanding footprint in India and boosts the company's ability to maximise value and drive change for energy sector clients.  

Kamath holds an engineering degree from IIT Bombay and a management degree from IIM Bangalore. Prior to joining A&M, Kamath served as a partner in KPMG's energy practice, specialising in the renewable energy sector.  

With over 23 years of experience in advising clients across the energy value chain, Kamath is a recognised industry leader known for working with a broad range of stakeholders and providing leadership to companies focused on emerging energy transition areas. He has been involved with governments to form policies and has been counselling investors on their investment decisions.
