Mamata Machinery has introduced its pioneering RecTech™ recyclable packaging technology at PlastIndia 2026 in New Delhi, aiming to transform India's flexible packaging landscape. RecTech™ is an advanced fully recyclable mono-material film that delivers superior mechanical strength and barrier performance compared to traditional non-recyclable composite films commonly used in flexible packaging.
Designed to tackle both performance and sustainability challenges, RecTech™ bridges the cost gap between conventional composite materials and pricier recyclable alternatives, accelerating the adoption of sustainable solutions among domestic brands striving to meet Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) mandates.
Complementing this innovation is Mamata's comprehensive recyclable-compatible packaging ecosystem featuring co-extrusion blown film plants, pouch makers, and HFFS & VFFS packaging machines all indigenously designed and manufactured by the company enabling a unified recyclable production and packaging framework.
RecTech™ marks a significant step forward in sustainable packaging, helping brand owners and converters achieve environmental goals without compromising on performance or commercial scalability.
