SABIC, a global leader in diversified chemicals, is set to present its latest portfolio of advanced material solutions at PlastIndia 2026, reinforcing its commitment to India and other fast-growing regional economies. Anchored in the theme "Shaping Tomorrow Together," the company will demonstrate how materials science and technical expertise are enabling next-generation applications across mobility, energy, infrastructure, packaging and consumer sectors.
At the event, SABIC will spotlight its collaborative approach to innovation—working closely with customers and value chain partners to anticipate future industry needs and co-develop high-performance, sustainable solutions. The exhibits will illustrate how advanced materials support electrification, lightweighting and resilient infrastructure, while improving performance, process efficiency and sustainability outcomes. India remains one of SABIC's strategic growth markets, underpinned by more than four decades of successful collaboration in the country.
"Through close collaboration with our customers and value chain partners, we are developing advanced material solutions that support India's growth ambitions while enabling better performance and sustainability across industries. PlastIndia 2026 is an important platform to demonstrate how we can join hands to shape tomorrow together," said Sami Al-Osaimi, Executive Vice President, Polymers SBU at SABIC.
SABIC's presence at PlastIndia 2026 will be organized around four immersive experience zones—MOVE, BUILD, POWER and CARE—each representing essential pillars of modern life.
MOVE will focus on enabling next-generation electric vehicle (EV) charging systems and automotive applications that are lighter, safer and more durable. These solutions help manufacturers reduce maintenance, enhance design flexibility and build reliable e-mobility infrastructure. The showcase will also feature SABIC's MEGAMOLDING™ platform, which supports the production of large, high-performance thermoplastic battery enclosures for the automotive industry.
BUILD will highlight advanced piping and construction solutions designed for long-term strength and crack resistance. By offering weight advantages over traditional metal alternatives, these materials contribute to safer water networks and more resilient infrastructure systems.
POWER will present innovations for solar and energy applications, including floating photovoltaic systems and high-performance panels. SABIC's materials help enhance energy output, extend service life and reduce overall system costs through superior durability and weatherability.
CARE will feature packaging and consumer solutions that protect everyday contents while supporting recyclability, convenience and extended shelf life. The zone will also showcase dedicated healthcare materials designed to enable safer drug delivery, efficient blood management and reliable personal protection.
Through its participation at PlastIndia 2026, SABIC underscores its commitment to enabling progress through advanced materials, technology and collaboration—helping industries across India and the region shape a smarter, more sustainable tomorrow.
