Will take on and launch projects to forge a strong and durable relationship between the two countries.

The Sweden-India Business Leaders Roundtable (SIBLERT) has been launched successfully in New Delhi. SIBLERT is a high-level platform for business leaders from Sweden and India to identify joint challenges in the fields of research, innovation, investments, financing, trade, business, industrialization and regulation.

SIBLERT will take on and launch projects to forge a strong and durable relationship between the two countries. The forum will provide advice to the political leadership on both sides on the way forward to develop our relationship from bilateral, European and global business perspectives.

The launch of SIBLERT officially came to light in a joint statement between Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfvén's and Prime Minster Narendra Modi's bilateral meeting:

"Both Prime Ministers supported a stronger business-to-business dialogue between the two countries and welcomed the creation of an India-Sweden Business Leaders' Round Table."

"The exchange of ideas between executives and industrialists in The Sweden-India Round Table will foster even stronger ties between our two business communities. The relation between India and Sweden is a perfect match in terms of innovation, entrepreneurship and technology. I am looking forward to an intensive and close collaboration," said Marcus Wallenberg, Chairman of SEB and SAAB.
