Italian-Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) Inaugurates New Office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) inaugurate its new regional office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, held on 30th October 2025. This marks a major step in strengthening the growing trade, economic, and cultural relations between Italy and India.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Antonio Bartoli, Ambassador of Italy to India & Nepal, and Mr. Tarun Pandey, Vice – president of IICCI, along with representatives from Gujarat's business community, industry associations, and local government.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Antonio Bartoli emphasized the importance of Gujarat as a key industrial and innovation hub in India, stating: "Italy and India share a deep partnership rooted in innovation, design, and entrepreneurship. With the opening of the IICCI office in Ahmedabad, we are building new bridges for collaboration that will benefit businesses and communities in both countries."

Mr. Tarun Pandey, Vice – president of IICCI, added: "Gujarat represents immense potential for Italian companies looking to invest, manufacture, or partner in India. This new office will serve as a gateway for stronger industrial, technological, and cultural exchanges between Italy and India." The Ahmedabad office will focus on facilitating business matchmaking, institutional delegations, B2B networking events, and sector-specific collaborations in areas such as engineering, manufacturing, renewable energy, food processing, fashion & design, and smart technologies.
