Transit can run a range of 125 Kms on a single charge with a load capacity of 200 Kg, making the electric bike robust and sustainable.

EV manufacturer, Corrit Electric announced the launch of their delivery electric bike- ‘Transit'. Designed to offer a safe and quality delivery experience, Corrit Electric's 'Transit' series is a one-stop solution for all B2B delivery needs. The company will also launch Transit's B2C variant- ‘Transit Commute' in the event. The key difference between both models is that the commute variant comes with a modular storage attachment with a 65-litre box capacity.

Both bikes are powered by a 60V, 2.8 kw battery capacity (Li-ion) with a range of 125 Kms on a full charge. Furthermore, the bikes come with a load capacity of 200 Kg. With a wheelbase of 1350 mm and ground clearance of 190 mm, the bikes are amongst the most efficient in the segment. Both variants of Transit have a top speed of 70 kmph with three-speed modes.

Central and state government policymakers continue encouraging a shift to greener alternatives as more businesses opt for cleaner solutions to reach their consumers. Keeping in mind the branding requirements of enterprises, Transit can be personalised completely in accordance with brand guidelines.

Working to build a robust, sustainable and scalable EV-led ecosystem, Mr Mayur Misra, CEO & Director, Corrit Electric, said, "We designed Transit keeping in mind the state of riders in India and the safety concerns attached to faster deliveries offered by brands."

He further added, "Transit will provide a smooth riding experience to delivery agents and design flexibility to accommodate various load requirements. The after-sales service will be accessible throughout the operational cities. The bikes feature a durable and distinctive design unlike any other in the market. We hope to empower a million micro-entrepreneurs by facilitating safer delivery mechanisms everywhere."
