First ever Indian auto manufacturers-Sri Lankan sellers meet held

ACMA organised the buyer-seller meet to explore aftermarket opportunities in Sri Lanka.

To explore aftermarket opportunities in Sri Lanka, the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India organised a first ever buyers-sellers meet in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Sixteen leading Indian auto component manufacturers exhibited their aftermarket products to fifty plus key buyers that included Sri Lankan dealers, distributors and importers. ACMA also organized a seminar on 'Indian Auto Industry: Opportunities & Challenges' in cooperation with the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka. It adequately showcased the growing capabilities of the Indian Auto Component Industry among Sri Lankan delegates.

The event was inspired by PM Narendra Modi's recent visit to Sri Lanka, to strengthen business ties between the two countries.
