IMTEX Connect 2021 brings industry together

IMTMA connects IMTEX exhibitors with visitors on the digital platform

Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) launched the first IMTEX Connect on digital platform on January 21. Keeping in view the market conditions and changing business dynamics, IMTMA is organizing the event on the digital platform from 21st to 27th January 2021. The event will connect IMTEX exhibitors with visitors. Jamshyd N. Godrej, Chairman - Exhibitions, IMTMA, Indradev Babu, President, IMTMA, Ravi Raghavan, Vice President, IMTMA and V. Anbu, Director General & CEO, IMTMA, presided over the inauguration.
Speaking at the inauguration, Godrej said, "The use and evolution of digital platform has been a boon for industries as people could connect digitally to conduct business and achieve their goals. Industry has taken good advantage of the digital platform and we expect shows like IMTEX Connect to be the beginning of many such exhibitions in future."
Indradev Babu, President-IMTMA, in his address said, "IMTEX Connect 2021 will be a medium for the manufacturing industry to digitally explore all the technologies that will be on display. The show will throw light on why industry should embrace an integrated approach to increase productivity and prepare people, processes and technology as part of their journey for manufacturing excellence."
Delivering the vote of thanks, Ravi Raghavan, Vice President, IMTMA said, "IMTEX Connect 2021 will be a trendsetter for developing the machining and manufacturing ecosystem by keeping stakeholders connected in tough times."
Earlier, in his welcome speech, Anbu said, "Business is bouncing back after the coronavirus induced lockdowns and the prolonged economic slowdown. Industries are transforming and becoming agile with optimization of resources, leveraging innovations and new products."
Around 90 exhibitors are participating in IMTEX Connect 2021 and IMTMA expects around 8000 visitors from major manufacturing industries to participate in the show. The event features technical sessions, B2B meetings and participation from 5 international associations. The show has received encouraging response from visitors around 30 countries.
