TORK Motors, India's first electric motorcycle manufacturer, has inaugurated its latest experience zone at Shastri Nagar in Kota. This 3S facility will be home to the brand's KRATOS-R motorcycle and will offer sales and after sales services to consumers in the region.    

Expanding its footprint in Rajasthan, this is the company's second experience zone in the state after the recently inaugurated first zone in Jaipur. Customers will be able to get up close with the KRATOS-R Standard as well as Urban trim and experience the capabilities of India's first electric motorcycle through comprehensive test rides.

Kapil Shelke, Founder and CEO, TORK Motors, said, "Through KRATOS-R, TORK Experience Zones we offer an insight into the mobility of the future. We are affirmative that with second experience zone in the regal state of Rajasthan, we can grow the electric motorcycle community and open the door to a greener future."

On the tech front, the motorcycle is equipped with a 4.0 kWhr Li-ion battery pack (IP 67 rated) powering a 9kW ‘Axial Flux' motor, which has recently been granted a patent, enabling it to develop a peak torque of 38Nm at 96 per cent efficiency.

Three ride modes - Eco, City and Sport with an additional reverse mode, the IDC range is 180 km (in Eco mode) while the KRATOS-R can reach a top speed of 105 km/h (in Sport mode). Earlier this year, the KRATOS-R was refreshed with significant changes. The motorcycle now boasts a completely black motor and battery pack along with stylish decals for enhanced appeal and comes with a fast-charging port.

TORK Motors has recently introduced the Urban trim for the KRATOS-R that is priced at Rs 1,67,499 and comes with all the necessary features to make it a perfect urban commuter.
