ideaForge collaborates with Qualcomm Technologies to enhance UAV performance

Indian UAV manufacturer ideaForge partners with Qualcomm Technologies to integrate the Qualcomm Flight RB5 platform, enabling advanced computing capabilities and enhanced payload features for their unmanned aerial vehicles.

ideaForge, a vertically integrated company equipped with in-house product development centre, which allows the company to design, develop, engineer, and manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is collaborating with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. By incorporating compute hardware from Qualcomm Technologies on-board, ideaForge UAVs will have enhanced payload capabilities.

The integration of the Qualcomm Flight™ RB5 5G Platform has the potential to augment ideaForge's on-board computing capability and enabling enhanced platform applications including object avoidance and path planning. Qualcomm Flight, with its computational hardware, helps in the development of advanced drones for several applications. Further, it will enable ideaForge to engage with customers and provide them with the opportunity to experience the benefits of enhanced UAVs.

Dev Singh, Vice President, Business Development and Head of Building, Enterprise, and Industrial Automation, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. stated, "By combining our compute capabilities with ideaForge's UAV technology, ideaForge intends to enhance operations across various applications."
