Ashok Leyland becomes world's third largest bus maker

The flagship of the Hinduja Group achieved the rank of global No 3 in the MHCV bus makers list for the calendar year 2019, according to SIAM.  

Ashok Leyland Limited achieved the rank of global No 3 in the MHCV bus makers list for the calendar year 2019, based on reports released by SIAM, OICA (Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles), and IHS Markit.
The flagship of the Hinduja Group has been pioneers in the MHCV bus market and has introduced several path-breaking innovations in the industry. The company has been the first to introduce power steering, air brakes, rear engine bus, India's first double decker, and many more.
The buses made by Ashok Leyland have always delivered on the brand promise of ‘Aapki Jeet. Hamari Jeet.'
