The heartbeat of Indian manufacturing is set to echo through the capital as the 11th edition of the ET Now Machinist Super Shopfloor Awards 2025 gets underway this June. An initiative by the Times Group, this annual celebration is not just an awards night — it's a tribute to the unsung heroes on the factory floors, where innovation meets precision, and where the real magic of "Make in India" happens.
What makes these awards truly unique is their sharp focus on the shop floor itself — not just the brand or the company, but the actual teams and units that push the boundaries of efficiency, quality, and sustainability. It's a rare platform where engineers, operators, plant heads, and innovators are spotlighted for their contribution to the country's manufacturing excellence.
Now in its 11th year, the event has grown to become one of the most credible and eagerly awaited recognitions in the sector. Set to take place at the Roseate House, Delhi in on June 26, 2025, this year's ceremony promises not only to honour technical brilliance but also to showcase the human spirit behind the machines.
The awards follow a meticulous evaluation process, with nominations categorised by company size—MSMEs, Medium Enterprises, and Large Enterprises—to ensure a level playing field. A panel of respected industry veterans and experts take a deep dive into each nomination — not just ticking boxes for performance but really looking at the heart of the work: the innovation behind it, the impact it creates, and the passion that drives it.
The esteemed jury for the event includes Hemant Watve, CEO and MD, Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps Private Limited, Dr. Dhananjay Kumar, Emeritus Professor, College of Engineering Pune, Vikas Kadlag, Managing Director, Robertshaw India, Ramendra Kumar Sharma, Independent Director, Bireshwar Mitra, Former Executive Director, Sharda Motor Industries Ltd, S K Sinha, Group Chief Executive Officer, Bony Polymers Group, Rajeev Mittal, Chief Information Officer (CIO), Endurance Technologies Ltd, Abhijit Janugade, Director-Plant, Leidel & Kracht India Pvt. There's also a strong push to champion women in manufacturing, with categories dedicated to women changemakers, inclusive workplaces, and rising female talent on the shop floor.

This year, expectations are even higher. Manufacturing in India is going through an exciting shift — with smart technology, a growing focus on sustainability, and a fresh generation of skilled professionals bringing new energy to the shop floor.
And at the heart of this transformation are the shop floors—where strategy meets sweat, where goals become reality.
As the industry waits with bated breath, one thing is certain: the ET Now Machinist Super Shopfloor Awards are more than just trophies. They're a reminder of what's possible when vision, teamwork, and engineering excellence come together.
The countdown has begun. And for India's manufacturers, it's time to shine.
