ReGen launches India's largest wind turbine

ReGen Powertech has already installed nearly 2000 MW in India and 45 MW in Sri Lanka being the largest player in that market. ReGen has been able to maintain its leadership position in the IPP segment, thanks to its best in class Technology of Wind Turbines based on Gearless Permanent Magnet Generator.

The ReGen low speed gearless turbine is one of the most reliable wind turbine in the market with the lowest possible down time and machine availability close to 99% which is one of the highest in the industry even globally.

ReGen which started its commercial operations in the year 2008 has been pioneer in introducing technology suitable for low wind regime in the market and has introduced various new models of Wind Turbines within a short span of its inception. 

The 2.8 MW wind turbine is the latest introduction and developed by in house R & D team of ReGen and Wind Direct, its wholly owned subsidiary in Germany.  Two other new models of turbine are also in the pipeline for introduction in the Indian market in the coming year. 

ReGen with its two State of the art manufacturing facilities one at Tada, Andhra Pradesh and another at Udaipur, Rajasthan has a combined capacity to manufacture more than 1000 MW annually.
