Mindteck working to make HVAC control WiFi emabled

Mindteck has announced that it is collaborating on the design and development of a state-of-art Wi-Fi Thermostat for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) control with a global diversified technology and industrial leader.

The thermostat will have the latest technologies, including a touch screen user interface, Wi-Fi- based wireless control, remote upgradability, proximity detection and scheduling, and cloud connectivity.

This will enable multiple users to operate the product using Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi direct via any mobile device with Android, iOS and Windows platforms; web application for PCs and laptops are also supported. This is part of the Internet of Things paradigm and supports data reporting and cloud control. The design technology enables access-from-anywhere thermostat and enhanced user experience.
