Says, industry will have no dearth of employable manpower.

"Rajasthan provides a great opportunity to investors from India and overseas to expand their business, reliably source material and establish new manufacturing capacities. We are seeking the active participation of the captains of industry in the upcoming Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit," said Gajendra Singh Khimsar, Minister of Industries, Government of Rajasthan.

The Minister was addressing the Rajasthan Session at the 4th Invest North Conclave organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) recently. The Conclave concentrated on the role of northern states of India in creating enabling policies and models to attract investment and promote growth in the region.

The Minister also stated, "Rajasthan has a strategic location and market access due to its proximity to Delhi-NCR. The Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor and the Dedicated Freight Corridor, 39% of which will pass through our state, are set to play a major role in Rajasthan's infrastructure and industrial development. What makes Rajasthan a winning proposition is our leadership in skill development for our youth. Industry will have no dearth of employable manpower and our youth will have jobs and employment opportunities in all major sectors."

At the Invest North Conclave, specific sessions were held to showcase the strategies followed by the states to promote growth and attract investment. Titled, ‘Resurgent Rajasthan: Enabling Business Environment and Projects for Investment,' the session on Rajasthan  focused on the state government's efforts to promote overall development, under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, based on the  three pillars of effective governance, social justice and job creation.
