Global power management company Eaton has strengthened its operations in India with the launch of a new Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) and integrated manufacturing facility in Pune.
Spread over 1.5 lakh square feet in Baner, the new hub will serve as a center for innovation and collaboration, supporting Eaton's supply chain and manufacturing teams across the world.
The facility was inaugurated by Rogerio Branco, Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer, along with senior Eaton leaders Sreekumar Panicker and Pradeep Kumar SK.
"This new center represents another step forward in Eaton's journey in India," said Sreekumar Panicker, Vice President and Head of Eaton's Global Supply Chain CoE in India. "It enables us to bring together world-class talent to drive operational excellence, digital transformation, and sustainable value creation across our global supply chain."
The Pune center will focus on simplifying sourcing processes, consolidating suppliers, improving cost efficiency, and leveraging digital tools to enhance supply chain visibility and responsiveness.
