This agreement encompasses the design, engineering, installation, and operation of a Cryogenic Nitrogen Generator.

INOX Air Products (INOXAP), India's leading manufacturer of industrial and medical gases, has entered into a 20-year agreement with First Solar, a global provider of comprehensive photovoltaic (PV) solar energy solutions. This agreement encompasses the design, engineering, installation, and operation of a Cryogenic Nitrogen Generator. Its purpose is to provide high-purity Nitrogen to support First Solar's upcoming manufacturing facility in Pillaipakkam, Tamil Nadu.

First Solar's new facility is anticipated to become operational in the latter half of 2023, boasting an annual nameplate capacity of 3.4 gigawatts (GWDC) for the production of high-efficiency solar modules.

INOXAP's Cryogenic Nitrogen Generator will possess a capacity of 2400 Nm3/hour, ensuring a steady supply of Nitrogen and other industrial gases for First Solar's manufacturing processes.

Siddharth Jain, Managing Director of INOX Air Products, said, "This partnership aligns with our endeavors to create a more sustainable future for the next generation. We are excited to be part of this transformative journey and look forward to contributing towards the nation's sustainable development goals."

Sujoy Ghosh, Vice President and Managing Director of First Solar, India, said, "INOX Air Products' expertise in managing large-scale and complex engineering projects, and safely and reliably delivering industrial gases, made it a solid choice as a partner for this project."
