In a landmark move to strengthen India's technical talent pipeline, Delta Electronics India, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Technical Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The MoU exchange took place at the launch event of the Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School (NMFS) initiative, held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, in the esteemed presence of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M.K. Stalin, along with senior government officials and industry leaders.
This industry-academia collaboration marks a key milestone in Delta's long-term ESG and skill development vision, aimed at building an ecosystem of employable, skilled youth across Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions in India. The new CoE, located in Krishnagiri district, will offer advanced training in Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM), PLC programming, industrial automation, and robotics. The facility is equipped with Delta's proprietary automation technology, smart classrooms, and a real-time simulation zone to ensure immersive learning.
Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India, stated:"As India moves rapidly towards becoming a global manufacturing hub, skilled talent will be the key differentiator. This CoE reflects Delta's commitment to inclusive progress—bringing education, industry, and innovation together. We are grateful to TNSDC for their vision and look forward to supporting more such transformative initiatives in the future."
The CoE will offer 3- to 6-month training programmes, co-designed by Delta's industrial experts and aligned with global certification standards. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on employability and diversity, offering placement support and prioritising the inclusion of women candidates and economically disadvantaged youth. The programme blends classroom instruction with hands-on training using Delta's industry-grade systems.
Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director of Delta Electronics India, remarked, "Delta is proud to partner with the Government of Tamil Nadu in developing a future-ready skilled workforce. Through this Centre of Excellence, we are not only reaffirming our commitment to nation-building but also creating new pathways for underserved youth to access high-growth opportunities. Our objective is to equip learners with job-relevant skills, certified training, and real-world factory exposure."
