ASSE announces Safety India 2015 in Mumbai

The two-day professional development conference and exposition runs October 15-16

The American Society of Safety Engineers has announced that the Honorable Minister of State for Science & Technology & Earth Sciences, Government of India, Yalamanchili Satyanarayana Chowdary will inaugurate Safety India 2015 by sharing his thoughts on why this professional development conference is important to the future of India.

The two-day professional development conference and exposition runs October 15-16 at The Lalit Hotel, Mumbai, followed by one-day workshop on CSP/ASP Professional Certifications. This event will attract safety practitioners from a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, automotive, IT, biotechnology and many others.

"The participation of Minister Chowdary and other prominent government officials from the Ministry of Labour and Employment of India should be a signal to all Indian safety professionals on the importance the government is placing on improving workplace safety throughout the country and advancing the profession in India," said Michael Belcher, President - ASSE.
