Ashok Leyland has announced its sales figures for September 2023.

Ashok Leyland, a leading player in the commercial vehicle industry, has announced its sales figures for September 2023, showcasing strong growth in both domestic and export markets.

Domestic Sales Highlights:

M&HCV Trucks: In September 2023, Ashok Leyland recorded sales of 10,109 M&HCV trucks, marking a 5 per cent increase compared to September 2022. Cumulatively, the company has sold 46,861 M&HCV trucks, showing a 5 per cent growth from last year.

M&HCV Bus: With 1,851 units sold in September 2023, the company 119 per cent increase compared to the same month last year. The cumulative sales for M&HCV buses in 2023 reached 7,372 units, reflecting a 94 per cent increase from the previous year.

LCV: Ashok Leyland's LCV segment showed steady performance, with 6,233 units sold in September 2023, reflecting a 3 per cent increase compared to September 2022.

Total Vehicles: The overall domestic sales of vehicles reached 18,193 units in September 2023, showcasing a 10 per cent growth compared to September 2022. Cumulatively, the company has sold 86,052 vehicles in 2023, representing an 8 per cent increase from the previous year.

Domestic + Exports Sales Highlights:

M&HCV Trucks: In the combined domestic and export markets, Ashok Leyland sold 10,266 M&HCV trucks in September 2023.

M&HCV Bus: The M&HCV bus segment also performed exceptionally well, with 2,486 units sold in September 2023, a remarkable 79 per cent increase compared to September 2022.

LCV: In the combined markets, Ashok Leyland's LCV segment saw 6,450 units sold in September 2023, a 3 per cent increase compared to September 2022

Total Vehicles: The overall sales of vehicles in both domestic and export markets reached 19,202 units in September 2023, showcasing a 9 per cent growth compared to September 2022. Cumulatively, the company has sold 91,175 vehicles in 2023.
