Reliance Industries to invest Rs one lakh crore in Gujarat

Will be investing in the next 12 to 18 months, says Mukesh Ambani.

He said, "Vibrant Gujarat is not just an event to celebrate the spirit of business, but a declaration of Gujarat's determination to move ahead.

Under the leadership of our Prime Minister, the same will be spread across the nation, to make it Vibrant India. This is an affirmation that India is marching forward with a clear vision to emerge as a global power even when most of the world is struggling with low growth."

He also spoke about Reliance Foundation, which has touched 4 million Indians spread over 5,500 rural and urban locations. He is honored to lead PanditDeendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) that holds several sessions as part of Vibrant Gujarat.

PDPU is located in Gandhinagar and offers multiple courses like engineering, arts and management along with maximum real-life exposure to its students. Reliance Foundation provides necessary financial support to PDPU to make it one of the leading universities in the world.
