Three times larger than the company’s existing Noida facility, the new building will cover 67,000 sq ft and will include production, distribution and a technical centre.

Kuldeep Bhan, Managing Director of India said: "This is a landmark event for IMI Precision Engineering in India.  It signals our commitment to the Indian market, and is part of our strategy to grow our business in areas that offer significant opportunities. With a global commitment to Lean manufacturing, this greenfield facility will be configured to offer best-in-class operational performance."

Andrew Taylor, Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific: "The new facility in Noida will be our second major facility in the Asia Pacific region and will accelerate our plan to localise production, whilst bringing the quality and reputation of IMI Precision Engineering and its brands.  This follows a similar project in Shanghai, where we successfully localised production from facilities in Europe and the Americas."
