Investment of Rs. 507 crore; capacity of 66,000 MTPA

The Chalisgaon plant will allow Bharat Wire Ropes Limited to augment its capabilities and extend its presence in the international market with its wide range of export-quality goods.

When asked to comment on company outlook, the Managing Director, M. L. Mittal said, "With the opening of our new Chalisgaon facility, we would be able to expand the repertoire of wire rope products, thus giving a boost to the Government's Make in India program. Moreover, it would also allow us to enter into untapped overseas markets for wire ropes. Driven by a strong team equipped with years of experience, it's just a matter of time before we begin to count ourselves amongst the top wire rope companies in the world."
