He follows on Dr. Jörg Matthias Großmann, who has been the Regional Representative for Freudenberg India since 2006 and who will continue to perform his duties as CFO of Freudenberg Chemical Specialities SE & Co. KG. During his time as Regional Representative, Dr. Großmann successfully developed the Group's business in India, initiating numerous group wide projects and activities, and strengthening the Freudenberg Group's position in the market. Dr. Großmann also championed "social responsibility" in the region - focusing especially on environmental protection and the education of young people. Particularly noteworthy is the development of the Freudenberg training centre in Nagapattinam in southern India. "Dr. Großmann has set the basis for Freudenberg's long term success in India, with his unconditional commitment to quality and excellence, he always believed in and ensured that India is a priority for Freudenberg," said Dr. Mohsen Sohi, CEO of the Freudenberg Group.
