Delta opens new manufacturing plant in Hosur

New plant is Delta’s 3rd plant in India and is part of Delta’s investment commitment and expansion plan in India.

Delta has announced the official launch of its third manufacturing plant at Hosur in the state of Tamil Nadu. The new plant is Delta's 3rd plant in India and is part of Delta's investment commitment and expansion plan in India.

In the initial phase, the Hosur plant will manufacture C and CP series of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) with the rating of 10HP to 50 HP. In the second phase we will add on E series VFD of 7.5HP to 30HP ratings. The factory has been designed and built using environmental conservation measures and it will provide a healthy and safe workplace for employees. As part of Delta's expansion plans in India, the new factory reinforces Delta's mission: "To provide innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow."

Inaugurating the plant Dick Hsieh, President of Delta Electronics (Thailand), parent company of Delta India, said, "The new factory in India is an important project for Delta. It not only supports Delta's commitment to India's economy, but it also presents a significant opportunity for our strong growth in India. Delta is well positioned to help this dynamic economy with the latest industrial automation solutions for the ever growing manufacturing sector across industries."
