Fab Regal Raptor Motorcycles is planning to set up a manufacturing Plant in Telangana with an investment of Rs1000 crore. Currently, the bikes are being imported in CBU condition. The production facility is likely to come up on the outskirts of Hyderabad to manufacture Fab Regal Raptor motorcycles. However, the exact location of the plant is yet to be finalised.

"We have exclusive manufacturing rights for India and eight neighbouring countries viz. Srilanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Yemen and Pakistan. We will also be exporting to some neighbouring countries and earning foreign exchange," said MG Shahriq, MD, Fabulous and Beyond Motors India (FAB Motors).

The objective of the project is to bring the Regal Raptor Motor Cycle in India. Regal Raptor is a US based company and their production unit is in Shanghai. Regal Raptor is coming under Lifeng Group, which was formed in the year 1962 by Horse Zhang, a leading Industrialist. "The Regal Raptor is one of the biggest manufacturers of bikes like Cruisers, Choppers etc. It is doing very well in the entire Western, Arab and Asian countries," added Dr. MG Jeelani, Chairman of the Group.

FAB Motors is a recently-floated subsidiary of Hyderabad-based, over Rs 600-crore diversified business group Fabulous and Beyond Motors. FAB recently introduced three new bikes: DD 350 E, Daytona and Bobber. The bikes range from Rs2.96 lakh to Rs20 lakh in price. "But, the high-end model only will be available after two years. The 500 and 800 CC bikes will be made available after one and half year. There is a lot of craze for the product. As they are well known for their looks and style strength," said Shahriq. The DD 350 E can be modified into Police Bike by fixing few accessorie, he added.
