Global Sports Business Show to kick off on Dec 21

A one stop exhibition and conference program for sports

The Times of India is organising Global Sports Business Show for all fitness and sports enthusiasts during December 21-23, 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai. The exhibition will be spread over 7,500+ sq m and more than 200 national and international exhibitors will showcase their products related to sports and fitness.

 Along with the show, various conference programs such as Global Sports CSR Forum, Global Sports Marketing Forum, Global Textile Forum, Global Sports Science Summit, Global Infrastructure Investment Summit and Global Sports CSR Forum are planned over the period of three days.

Global Textile Forum will be inaugurated by Shri Bhaiyaalaal Rajwade, Minister of State for Sports & Youth Affairs, State of Chhattisgarh. The conference will throw light on current market size of the sport textile industry, issues & challenges faced & strategy for growth for sport textile industry.

Arvind Sinha, National President, The Textile Association (India) will discuss Roadmap for Indian Sport Textile Industry wherein, he will touch upon the current demand supply gap & huge opportunities for Sport Textiles in international & domestic market. The topic will focus on vision & future roadmap for the sport textile industry in India. It will cover the opportunities available in India as well as international markets. The other topics in the forum to be discussed are Innovations in Sportswear, Performance Parameters of fibre used in high end Sport tech goods, Innovative Dyes & Chemicals for Sport Textiles, Role of specialized Fabric finishes, etc.  

 The Global Sports CSR Forum will be inaugurated by Shri Vijay Goel, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Goel will also deliver a keynote address on the topic of Sports as a catalyst for social change.

Moreover, the event will also have Train the Trainer Workshops. These workshops will focus on varied sports including Football, Boxing, Basketball, Cricket, etc.
