Bansal Wire Industries Limited, the country's largest stainless steel wire manufacturer and the second-largest steel wire manufacturer by volume, reported a 36 per cent  year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to Rs 331 million for the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2025. The company's revenue for Q4 FY25 rose 33 per cent YoY to Rs 9,402 million, while EBITDA grew by 59 per cent YoY to Rs 747 million.

For the full financial year ended 31 March 2025, the company reported a net profit of ₹1,464 million, up 95 per cent YoY. Revenue for the year stood at Rs 35,072 million, reflecting a 42 per cent YoY growth, while EBITDA increased by 86 per cent to Rs 2,782 million.

The company has announced an approximate Rs 6,000 million investment in a greenfield project in Sanand, Gujarat. The project includes an induction-based steel plant with an annual capacity of approx. 1.8 lakh tonnes, and a 60,000-tonne low-carbon and stainless-steel wire facility. Approximately 42 acres of land have been acquired near the Tata Nagar manufacturing plant for Rs 800–Rs 900 million. Completion is expected by September 2027. This initiative aims to strengthen backward integration by importing steel scrap for in-house steel production to support wire manufacturing.

Commenting on the results, Pranav Bansal, Managing Director & CEO, Bansal Wire Industries Limited, said:"We stand at an exciting milestone, poised to unlock the next phase of growth and opportunity. The past year has been truly transformative — marked by a successful IPO and commissioning our state-of-the-art plant dedicated to value-added products. These milestones have created a robust launchpad for our journey ahead.

The consolidation of all our businesses under a single brand has sharpened our strategic focus and strengthened our leadership in the Indian steel wire industry. Today, we operate five manufacturing facilities with a combined installed capacity of 560kt. Our 300kt expansion at the Dadri plant is progressing well, and an additional 120kt is expected to be commissioned by H1 FY26.

Our emphasis remains on increasing the share of value-added products while solidifying our position up the value chain in a fragmented industry. We are embracing new opportunities and shaping an exciting future — together."

The company recently inaugurated its largest advanced manufacturing facility in Dadri, envisioned as one of India's most sustainable wire plants. With a current production capacity of 300,000 MTPA, the facility is expected to scale to 420,000 MTPA by H1 FY26. Bansal Wire's overall infrastructure can support up to 680,000 MTPA.
