“Driving India's Journey Toward Sustainable Mobility”

The Global Conference on Plastics in Automotive (GCPA) 2025 is all set to return to Pune on November 27, promising to be bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever. Hosted at the JW Marriott and co-powered by Covestro and Yudo Hot Runner India Pvt., this year's conference carries the theme "Local Innovation, Global Impact, Sustainable Mobility"—a fitting reflection of India's growing leadership in the sustainable transformation of the automotive industry.

Over the years, GCPA has evolved from a focused industry meet to one of India's most anticipated gatherings for innovators, engineers, and thought leaders in the automotive sector. It has become a crucible of ideas, where materials science meets design, sustainability meets technology, and collaboration fuels the next wave of automotive evolution. The 2025 edition aims to push that boundary even further—exploring how plastics, when reimagined responsibly, can drive India's ambition for greener, more efficient, and circular mobility solutions.

Attendees this year can expect a day rich with insights, featuring thought-provoking keynotes, industry case studies, and dynamic discussions that connect OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, recyclers, researchers, and policymakers. Beyond the sessions, the conference serves as a vibrant platform for new partnerships and forward-looking collaborations—where concepts move from drawing boards to production lines, and where India's innovation potential meets global opportunity.

Building on the success of last year's edition, held in October 2024, GCPA continues its legacy of excellence and engagement. The 8th GCPA, presented by Milacron India and co-powered by Covestro India and Yudo, drew over 400 delegates and 30-plus speakers who explored the theme "Innovate, Integrate, Accelerate: Plastics Leading Transformation." The event celebrated leaders such as Forvia Faurecia and Mahindra Research Valley for their contributions to automotive plastics and set the tone for deeper discussions around circularity, design innovation, and material sustainability—momentum that now carries into this year's expanded edition.

With each passing year, GCPA grows not just in scale, but in purpose. It has become a defining space where India's automotive community unites to rethink materials, redefine manufacturing, and reimagine a cleaner, smarter, and more connected mobility future. As the world looks toward sustainable transformation, GCPA 2025 stands as a testament to India's capability and commitment to lead that journey.

The Global Conference on Plastics in Automotive (GCPA) 2025 will be organised by The Times Group and ET Now Machinist at the JW Marriott, Pune, on November 27, 2025.
