Omron Automation India endeavours to consolidate its business in Tamil Nadu as one of the important regional expansion plans to be followed by the company in this FY.

The company shared the information at its Affinity Seminar held at Coimbatore recently. These seminars have already been conducted earlier in Hyderabad, Indore and Ahmedabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Sameer Gandhi, MD, Omron Automation India said, "Being the manufacturing hub for Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore has always been a crucial log in Omron Automation's business strategy for the state.

"This year we are taking our efforts to the next level by further exploiting the automation needs across its huge manufacturing industry base, especially, in the textile, automotive and engineering sector through channel expansion in our focused product categories of Vision, Safety and Sysmac. This will also help us to reach out to more small & medium OEMs and customers situated in the adjoining areas of Coimbatore including Kerala."

Attended by more than 200 participants, comprising of OEMs, channel partners, system integrators and end users, the symposium was an interactive platform to make the participants acquainted with the company's key offerings in industrial Omron Automation portfolio such as Sysmac Platform, Vision Inspection Solution, Robotics Solutions, Machine Safety Solutions, etc. and to share the company's vision and plans.

"These kind of symposiums are an important part of our sales and marketing strategy as they help us a lot in  coming up with better go-to-market strategies and customised plans so that our associates attain an equal role in our vision of enriching lives of people through innovation by automation." added Gandhi.
