Tata AutoComp Systems and Katcon enter into a JV

Will offer exhaust systems to the Indian automotive industry.

Tata AutoComp Systems (Tata AutoComp) and Katcon Global have signed a 50/50 joint venture (JV) agreement to provide exhaust systems and emission after-treatment systems to the Indian automotive industry.

The JV will be focused on designing and delivering innovative exhaust systems and emission after-treatment solutions to the Indian automotive industry. The range would cover cutting-edge exhaust solutions for passenger cars, utility vehicles, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, buses, farm tractors and off-road vehicles.

The product offering will include solutions for both the hot end and cold end of the exhaust system namely, catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters, selective catalytic reduction, mufflers and silencer modules.

The JV will be headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
