The Machinist salutes his contribution towards the Indian manufacturing industry

Kevin Flynn, MD & President, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India was inducted in to The Machinist Hall of Fame 2018

One of the key purposes of The Machinist Global Manufacturing Summit is to recognise and honour the industry veterans' contribution towards the Indian manufacturing industry. Kevin Flynn, Managing Director & President, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India became the fourth leader to be inducted in to The Machinist Hall of Fame.

Flynn's excellent entrepreneurial skills and leadership abilities have helped the company launch Jeep Compass in the Indian market. With this product, the company has redefined the Indian SUV market. Moreover, these cars are exported world over from the plant in Ranjangaon, Pune. In other words, it is a 'Made in India for the world'. Also, he also brought iconic Jeep SUVs such as the Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee SRT and the Wrangler to market the Indian market.  

Prior to joining FCA India, Flynn has spearheaded operations of leading automobile brands in the various countries. During his international career spanning over 16 years, he has been associated with brands like Porsche, BMW, VW, Audi, Lamborghini, Jaguar Land Rover and Lexus. He headed the Lexus brand in three countries - Germany, the United Kingdom & South Africa.

About The Machinist Hall of Fame

The Machinist Hall of Fame was instituted in 2015 by Worldwide Media. It is the highest recognition awarded to individuals for their contribution to the Indian manufacturing industry across different sectors.  Previously, Baba Kalyani, Chairman & Managing Director, Bharat Forge (2015); (Late) Rajan Nanda, (then) Chairman, Escorts Ltd. (2017) and Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Founder & CMD, Kent RO (2018) were inducted into The Machinist Hall of Fame.
